Just before the stellar and last event of the evening, the lights came up and the audience was granted a short intermission for the replenishment of snacks and beverages... and whatnot.
As soon as the lights came up, the ring filled up with kids bouncing on the spring-loaded floor, swinging from the ropes and trouncing eachother around.
Then suddenly there appeared a couple of bigger kids... ? maybe more wrestlers...? GIRLS???? WELL, it seemed we were really into a half-time show now, because a couple of the women in our group were no longer sitting demurely by the ringside, but were up there within the ropes, scrapping it out.

These girls really got into it for a few minutes - the rest of the kids took to the sidelines to watch. Amid grunts and shrill cries, they lunged and threw eachother around for the remainder of the intermission period.
It was a bit difficult to see who came out the winner... from the looks of it they both decided to claim title, but the crowd loved it and I'm sure they were happy for the extra and unexpected entertainment.
Note: Both girls became so keyed up by their match that they went to the market the next day to pick up their very own masks. They are now in serious training....
